Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Hybrid working from Bolton Head Office
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
Closing date: 2nd August 2024

About the Role
As the Infrastructure Engineer you will provide escalated Service Desk & Infrastructure support services alongside a team of experienced technicians. You will be responsible for supporting and managing the IT Infrastructure of the Company including resolving complex issues, managing, and working on projects and supporting the business in making sure the infrastructure is fit for purpose. You will put a key focus on the support, maintenance, and upgrade of Infrastructure services across our estate whilst providing excellent customer service.

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will be an experienced IT professional with previous experience in a 3rd line support role within a technical support desk or MSP. You will be proficient in managing Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure platforms and skilled in networking, virtualization, LAN/WAN technologies, and firewall configuration.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be knowledgeable in MDM, MDT, SQL, and cyber security principles, with hands-on experience in AV/EDR/MDR solutions and Azure SSO. You will have the ability to problem solve, prioritise and provide excellent customer service on complex issues.
