Full Job Description

Job Title: People Partner

Location: Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the Bolton Office and National travel

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience  

Closing date: 17th September 2024

About the Role

As a hands-on operational role, the People Partner will collaborate closely with our managers to foster employee well-being and engagement through various initiatives. These will include people projects, dispute resolution and promoting a positive workplace culture. 

Serving as the primary contact for people-related matters within their designated area, the People Partner ensures timely and accurate case management while upholding confidentiality and integrity. They play a pivotal role in driving improvements, managing change, and overseeing structural adjustments across our multi-site teams.

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in leading and supporting organisational change initiatives. You will be a proficient in HRIS systems and have the skills to work with data and reports related to labour metrics including turnover and absence. 

The People Partner will have proven ability to deliver proactive, customer-focused business solutions to HR challenges and take a tactful and diplomatic approach to handling sensitive issues. The role requires strong relationship-building and influencing skills, along with the capability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business. 

You will be up to date in employment law and HR practices, holding a CIPD Level 7 qualification or an equivalent degree in Human Resource Management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage complex employee relations cases, including preparing for Employment Tribunals.

A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK are essential for the requirements of the role.
