Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid / Head Office, Atria, Bolton

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent / Full Time

About the Role:

The DevOps Engineer will be part of our Applications and Development team for software support across the Group, as well as providing support for the enhancement and development of our core systems.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, scalability and reliability of our systems, with a primary focus on managing and optimising our AWS environment, architecture and data flows between key systems. 

You will play a critical role in supporting, mentoring and collaborating with our development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Who Are We Looking For?

You should have:

• Proven experience directing development teams and managing application lifecycles.
• Expertise in AWS, serverless frameworks and JavaScript technologies.
• Strong proficiency in DevOps tools: Terraform, GitHub, Jira, Postman.
• Solid database management skills and familiarity with ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AWS Certified Developer
• Development Certification

Desirable criteria:

• Azure Developer Associate
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Salesforce development and additional cloud platforms
• Experience with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
