At National Fostering Group our Supervising Social Workers are integral to our mission of creating safe and happy environments to the children and young people in our care. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our fostering services operate effectively, our foster carers are supported and the needs of the children in our care are met with compassion and professionalism.

Social Work Roles

  • Registered Manager
    Our Registered Managers are responsible for leading the agencies on quality, compliance and support for foster carers.
  • Practice/Team Manager
    Our Practice/Team Managers are responsible for providing leadership, guidance and oversight to ensure the best outcomes for children and carers.
  • Advanced Practitioner
    Our Advanced Practitioners offer carry a small caseload whilst also offering support, mentoring and practice leadership to drive excellence in fostering.
  • Supervising Social Worker
    Supervising Social Workers are at the heart of what we do — they support our carers, ensure safe placements and promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Support Worker
    Support Workers are essential to our mission — they provide dedicated care, build trusting relationships and help create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive.
