Full Job Description

Job Title: ER Advisor

Location: Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the Bolton Office

Contract Type: 3-month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitive

Closing date: 15th November 2024

About the Role

The ER Advisor will provide expert support and advice to our managers on employee relations whilst promoting a positive work environment. You will ensure all matters consider and meet with our compliance standards and company policies. This role will handle all ER issues such as disciplinary actions, grievances and conflict resolution, while maintaining accurate records and identifying process improvements. 

Additionally, the ER Advisor will support with managing people-related enquiries and ensuring accurate system updates whilst also competing administrative tasks such as writing letters, managing employee files and responding to emails in the HR inbox. 

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ER Advisor with strong knowledge of employment law and HR policies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing ER issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to offer practical ER advice to managers and employees across the Group.

Strong organisational skills are essential, as this role involves managing HR systems, maintaining accurate records and handling administrative tasks efficiently. The ability to balance multiple responsibilities, identify process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies will be essential.
