Job Title: Carer Recruitment Manager
Location: Covering the Midlands
Salary: £30,000 + £3,000 car allowance
Contract - Permanent, Full Time
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and successful colleague to support the Head of Carer Recruitment.
Reporting into the Head of Foster Carer Recruitment, the focus of the role is to achieve carer recruitment targets to help National Fostering Group provide positive outcomes for more children and young people. Key tasks are to share best practice; oversee, monitor and support the consistent application of Carer Recruitment processes for our agencies primarily by supporting and mentoring our Carer Recruitment Officers.
Although home based there will be some travel to individual agencies to meet with RMs and CROs.
You will work closely with the Regional Directors, Area Managers and Registered Managers by providing practical and creative support to our Carer Recruitment Officers. You will help collate and analyse management information on carer recruitment, advise on processes, recruitment and engagement activity.
You will be skilled in excellent customer and/or applicant experience for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable with IT applications and databases with evidence of attention to detail, able to support the Carer Recruitment Officers understand, train on and accurately use the applicant databases.
You will have supported change and be skilled in building relationships at all levels.
Who are we looking for?
Previous management experience, experience in customer service or applicant experience. Recruitment or marketing experience could help you succeed in the role. You must be proficient in CRM databases, have an excellent knowledge of excel database management, and diary management, as well as demonstrating excellent spoken and written communication. You will be able to present to large groups both in person and online and be proficient in the use of PowerPoint. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, be a creative thinker and work well under time pressure. You will need an excellent eye for detail in supporting accurate data input and providing reports.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience managing processes and/or people
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- CRM and Excel database experience
- Excellent Customer Service
- Evidence of managing people and building relationships
- Able to work well to time pressures and recruitment targets
- A passion for growing our foster carer community
